Ingredients
  1. 140 g softened butter
  2. 80 g caster sugar
  3. 1/2 tsp chilli powder
  4. 270 g plain flour
  5. 1 tsp baking powder
  6. 1 tbsp chocolate chips
  7. 1 egg
  8. 2 tbsp semi-skimmed milk
Instructions
  1. Beat sugar with butter until soft and fluffy.
  2. Add the rest of dry ingredients, egg and milk and mix well. The mixture should be slightly sticky.
  3. Grease slightly a pan with butter.
  4. Using wet hands make balls (golf ball size) from the dough, press them so they are 1 cm in depth. Don't make them thick as they will not cook properly. Fry for 3-5 minutes from both sides until they are golden.
